For vendors to participate in the electronic signature option in eProcurement they will be required to have the following:
Adobe Acrobat 9.0 or higher (standard or professional)
Note: Adobe Acrobat Reader (free version) will not allow you to electronically sign documents.
A personal Digital ID issued by Symantec

Check the Symantec Digital IDs for Secure Email for details, as the instructions may differ depending on your location.
After registering and obtaining your Digital ID, follow the instructions to install it in your system.
When you first installed your Digital ID, you were required to select a Security Level. Depending on the Security Level of the Digital ID being used to sign the document, one of the following actions occurs:
1 - Low Security Level. The digital signature immediately appears on the document.
2 - Medium Security Level. A confirmation window appears. Click OK to continue. The digital signature appears on the document.
3 - High Security Level. A confirmation window appears. Enter the password associated with the Digital ID and click OK to continue. The digital signature appears on the document.
You are now ready to electronically sign a PDF
